Description
SEBO X4 9570AM White Upright Vacuum is a premium full-size upright designed for powerful carpet cleaning, hard-floor performance, pet-hair removal and easy whole-home cleaning. The AUTOMATIC X4 uses an intelligent electronic controller that continuously monitors brush resistance and automatically raises or lowers the power head to maintain the proper cleaning position.
The X4 combines this automatic height system with a 12-inch power head, high-speed brush roller, large 1.4-gallon filter bag, sealed S-Class filtration, instant-use wand and hose, three onboard tools and a long 40-foot power cord.
SEBO X4 9570AM Automatic Height Adjustment
The defining feature of the SEBO X4 9570AM is its truly automatic brush-height system.
An electronic controller measures resistance between the spinning brush roller and the floor. The vacuum automatically moves the power head up or down until the proper brush position is reached.
This allows the X4 to transition between different carpet heights and compatible hard-floor surfaces without requiring the user to manually turn a height-adjustment dial.
12-Inch Power Head
The X4 uses a 12-inch power head with an approximately 10.5-inch cleaning path.
Its size gives the vacuum a useful balance between productive floor coverage and maneuverability around furniture, beds and tables.
One-sided edge cleaning also helps collect debris close to walls and baseboards.
High-Speed 3,100 RPM Brush Roller
The powered brush roller operates at approximately 3,100 RPM to agitate carpet fibers and loosen embedded dust, dirt, lint and pet hair.
The brush system works together with strong airflow to move loosened debris into the vacuum’s large disposable filter bag.
Excellent Pet-Hair Cleaning
The X4 is particularly well suited to homes with dogs and cats because the powered brush roller provides strong carpet agitation for embedded pet hair.
The integrated hose and onboard upholstery nozzle also provide useful above-floor cleaning for furniture and other surfaces where pet hair collects.
Three-Stage S-Class Filtration
The X4 uses SEBO’s tightly sealed S-Class filtration system.
- Three-layer AeraPure filter bag
- S-Class pre-motor microfilter
- Exhaust filter
- Tightly sealed vacuum housing
The sealed casing helps prevent dirty air from escaping through gaps in the machine before passing through the filtration system.
Large 1.4-Gallon Filter Bag
The X4 uses a large 1.4-gallon disposable filter bag.
The generous capacity reduces the frequency of bag changes compared with many smaller household vacuums while keeping collected dirt contained until disposal.
40-Foot Power Cord
The SEBO X4 9570AM includes an extra-long 40-foot power cord.
This provides substantial cleaning range for larger rooms, hallways and connected spaces while reducing the number of outlet changes needed during cleaning.
Instant-Use Wand and Hose
The integrated cleaning wand and suction hose are always ready for above-floor cleaning.
The standard wand and hose provide approximately eight feet of combined reach for corners, furniture, edges and other hard-to-reach areas.
SEBO also offers an optional nine-foot extension hose, which can increase total hose length to approximately 15 feet for stair cleaning.
Automatic Brush-Obstruction Protection
If an object jams the brush roller, the red check-brush light flashes rapidly, the brush immediately stops and the vacuum automatically shuts down.
This helps protect the motor, geared belts, carpet and brush assembly from damage.
Full-Bag and Clog Protection
The X4 monitors airflow while cleaning.
If the filter bag becomes full, the airflow pathway becomes clogged or a filter becomes excessively restricted, a warning light illuminates.
If the problem continues, the vacuum automatically shuts down after approximately 30 seconds to help protect the motor from overheating.
Automatic Brush-Wear Compensation
The electronic height system automatically compensates as the brush roller gradually wears.
When the roller becomes excessively worn, the red check-brush indicator stays illuminated to alert the user that brush replacement may be needed.
Tool-Free Brush-Roll Removal
Hair, thread and string can eventually wrap around any powered vacuum brush. SEBO designed the X4 brush roller so it can be removed without tools for cleaning or replacement.
Low 5.5-Inch Cleaning Profile
The handle can recline almost flat, giving the X4 an approximately 5.5-inch profile for cleaning underneath many beds and pieces of furniture.
Three Onboard Tools
The X4 includes three full-size cleaning attachments stored directly on the vacuum:
- Dusting brush
- Crevice nozzle
- Upholstery nozzle

SEBO X4 vs. X4 Boost
The standard X4 automatically controls brush height for everyday cleaning. The X4 Boost adds a second selectable brush-agitation mode that allows deeper brush action on carpets and rugs.
