12-Inch SEBO ET-1 Power Head
The SEBO FELIX Premium White 9808AM includes the 12-inch SEBO ET-1 electric power head. This premium power head is engineered for deep carpet cleaning and includes four manual brush-height settings, a replaceable brush roller and electronic overload protection.
The ET-1 brush roller spins at approximately 2700 RPM and can be switched off for straight-suction cleaning on delicate rugs and hard floors. Its swivel neck contributes to the FELIX’s excellent maneuverability around furniture and tight spaces.
Excellent for Carpet and Area Rugs
The ET-1 power head allows the SEBO FELIX Premium White 9808AM to clean a wide range of carpet heights. The four-position manual height adjustment allows the user to optimize brush contact with the carpet surface.
The power head also includes a warning light system that can alert the user when the brush height is set too high, the brush roller is excessively worn or an obstruction causes the brush roller to stop.
Premium Parquet Brush for Hard Floors
Every FELIX Premium includes SEBO’s dedicated Premium Parquet Brush. Removing the ET-1 power head and installing the parquet brush transforms the FELIX into a highly maneuverable hard-floor vacuum for hardwood, tile, laminate and other suitable hard surfaces.
The parquet brush gives the FELIX the floor-tool flexibility normally associated with a premium canister vacuum while retaining the convenience of an upright design.
180-Degree Swivel Steering
One of the defining features of the FELIX Premium is its highly maneuverable 180° steering system. The swivel neck allows the vacuum to turn smoothly around furniture, table legs, corners and other obstacles.
The FELIX also has a low-profile design that allows the machine to clean under beds, tables and other furniture more easily than many traditional upright vacuums.
Variable Suction Control
The SEBO FELIX Premium White 9808AM features variable suction control directly on the vacuum. This allows you to reduce suction for delicate rugs, curtains, upholstery and lightweight fabrics or increase suction for normal floor cleaning.
Variable suction adds significant versatility and is especially helpful in homes with multiple floor types and delicate area rugs.
Detachable Portable Suction Unit
The FELIX’s suction unit can be detached from the floor head and used as a powerful portable vacuum. This configuration is useful for:
- Stairs
- Upholstery
- Furniture
- Automobile interiors
- Baseboards
- Above-floor cleaning
This feature gives the FELIX much more flexibility than a conventional upright vacuum.
SEBO S-Class Filtration
The SEBO FELIX Premium White 9808AM uses SEBO’s three-stage S-Class filtration system. The system combines a multi-layer filter bag, a pre-motor filter and an exhaust microfilter.
The sealed bagged design helps keep collected dust contained during normal use and disposal. SEBO’s AeraPure-style bags also include a sealing cap that can be closed before removal to help prevent dust from escaping.
Large 0.92-Gallon Filter Bag
The FELIX uses a 0.92-gallon filter bag, providing considerably more capacity than many compact bagless upright vacuums.
Bagged filtration can also make maintenance cleaner because accumulated debris stays contained inside the bag rather than being emptied from an open dust cup.
Excellent Vacuum for Pet Hair
The SEBO FELIX Premium White 9808AM is a strong choice for homes with dogs and cats. The ET-1 power head provides powered brush agitation for removing embedded hair from carpets and rugs, while the parquet brush handles hard floors where loose pet hair often collects.
The removable brush roller also makes routine maintenance easier when hair becomes wrapped around the roller.
Tool-Free Brush Roller Removal
The SEBO ET-1 power head allows the brush roller to be removed without tools. This makes it much easier to clean away wrapped hair, string and fibers or replace a worn brush roller.
Easy brush maintenance is especially useful in homes with long-haired pets or occupants with long hair.
Automatic Brush Obstruction Protection
If the ET-1 brush roller becomes obstructed, the power head includes electronic protection designed to stop the brush roller. This helps protect the belt, motor and flooring from damage caused by a jammed brush.
31-Foot Power Cord
The FELIX Premium includes a 31-foot power cord, giving users a large cleaning radius without constantly changing electrical outlets.
SEBO lists an overall operating range of approximately 34.5 feet.
Adjustable Handle Height
The FELIX Premium includes an adjustable handle that can be set to different heights for more comfortable operation. The handle can also be lowered for storage.
Quiet Operation
SEBO rates the FELIX at approximately 68 dBA, making it relatively quiet for a full-size powered upright vacuum.
