SEBO X4 Boost Red Upright Vacuum – 90505AM

Description

SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM Red Upright Vacuum is a premium full-size upright designed for powerful carpet cleaning, pet-hair removal and easy whole-home cleaning. It combines SEBO’s truly automatic electronic height adjustment with a selectable Boost mode that provides deeper brush action when carpeting or rugs need more aggressive agitation.

The X4 Boost is built on SEBO’s proven AUTOMATIC X platform and adds extra cleaning control without making the machine complicated to use. An electronic controller continuously measures brush resistance and automatically raises or lowers the power head to maintain effective contact with the flooring underneath it.

SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM Automatic Height Adjustment

The defining feature of the SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM is its automatic brush-height system.

The electronic controller measures resistance between the spinning brush roller and the floor and automatically adjusts the power head upward or downward until the proper cleaning position is reached.

This means the user does not need to manually select a carpet-height setting as flooring changes.

Boost Mode for Deeper Carpet Cleaning

The X4 Boost adds a selectable deeper-cleaning mode that the standard X4 does not have.

When the Boost Button is pressed, the spinning brush roller is allowed to develop greater resistance against the flooring before the automatic height system raises the power head.

This produces deeper brush action on carpets and rugs and is especially useful when extra agitation is desired.

12-Inch Power Head

The X4 Boost uses a 12-inch power head with an approximately 10.5-inch cleaning path.

This gives the machine a useful balance between efficient floor coverage and maneuverability around furniture, beds and tables.

One-sided edge cleaning also helps collect debris close to walls and baseboards.

High-Speed 3,100 RPM Brush Roller

The powered brush roller operates at approximately 3,100 RPM to loosen embedded dirt, dust, lint and pet hair from carpet fibers.

Strong airflow then carries loosened debris into the vacuum’s large disposable filter bag.

Excellent Pet-Hair Cleaning

SEBO specifically lists excellent pet-hair removal as a strength of the AUTOMATIC X platform.

The powered brush roller provides the agitation needed to loosen hair embedded in carpeting and many area rugs, while the integrated hose and upholstery tool provide additional cleaning versatility above the floor.

Three-Stage S-Class Filtration

The SEBO X4 Boost uses a tightly sealed S-Class filtration system.

• Three-layer AeraPure filter bag
• S-Class pre-motor microfilter
• Exhaust filtration
• Tightly sealed vacuum housing

The sealed casing helps prevent dirty air from escaping through seams before passing through the filtration system.

Optional HEPA Filtration

SEBO currently lists HEPA filtration as available for the AUTOMATIC X4 Boost platform.

The vacuum comes standard with S-Class filtration, while compatible HEPA filtration is available for customers who prefer that configuration.

Large 1.4-Gallon Filter Bag

The X4 Boost uses a large 1.4-gallon disposable filter bag.

The generous capacity means fewer bag changes than many smaller household vacuums and keeps collected debris contained until disposal.

40-Foot Power Cord

The SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM includes an extra-long 40-foot power cord.

This gives the vacuum substantial cleaning range in larger rooms, hallways and connected spaces while reducing the number of outlet changes needed.

Instant-Use Wand and Hose

The integrated wand and suction hose are always ready for above-floor cleaning.

Together they provide approximately eight feet of cleaning reach for corners, edges, furniture and other areas beyond the floor head.

An optional extension hose can increase total hose length to approximately 15 feet for stair cleaning.

Automatic Brush-Obstruction Protection

If an object jams the brush roller, the red check-brush warning light flashes rapidly, the brush roller stops and the vacuum automatically shuts down.

This helps protect the motor, geared belts, brush system and flooring from damage.

Full-Bag and Clog Protection

The X4 Boost monitors airflow while cleaning.

If the bag becomes full, airflow becomes restricted or a microfilter becomes excessively dirty, a warning light illuminates.

If the restriction continues, the vacuum automatically shuts down after approximately 30 seconds to help prevent overheating.

Automatic Brush-Wear Compensation

The electronic height-adjustment system automatically compensates as the brush roller gradually wears.

When brush wear becomes excessive, the red check-brush indicator stays illuminated to alert the user that service or brush replacement may be needed.

Tool-Free Brush-Roll Removal

Hair and thread can eventually wrap around any powered vacuum brush.

SEBO designed the X4 Boost brush roller so it can be removed without tools, making routine cleaning and replacement much easier.

Low 5.5-Inch Cleaning Profile

The X4 Boost reclines to an approximately 5.5-inch profile, helping the vacuum reach under many beds and pieces of furniture.

Three Onboard Tools

The X4 Boost includes three full-size cleaning attachments stored directly on the machine:

• Dusting brush
• Crevice nozzle
• Upholstery nozzle

SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM Specifications

Who Is the SEBO X4 Boost Best For?

• Homes with substantial carpeting
• Customers who want automatic height adjustment
• Customers who occasionally want deeper carpet agitation
• Pet owners
• Homes with carpet and compatible hard floors
• Customers who prefer bagged filtration
• Larger homes that benefit from a 40-foot cord

X4 Boost vs. Standard X4

The standard X4 automatically adjusts brush height for normal everyday cleaning.

The X4 Boost adds a second selectable brush-agitation mode. Pressing the Boost Button allows the brush roller to remain more aggressive against carpeting before the automatic height system raises the head.

For customers who want automatic convenience plus occasional deeper carpet agitation, the X4 Boost is the better choice.

USA Vacs Expert Recommendation

At USA Vacs, we recommend the SEBO X4 Boost 90505AM for customers who want automatic height adjustment but also appreciate the ability to increase carpet agitation when needed.

The Boost feature is especially useful in homes with thicker carpets, rugs or high-traffic areas that occasionally need stronger brush action.

The large bag, long 40-foot cord, sealed filtration, onboard tools and easy brush maintenance also make the X4 Boost an excellent long-term whole-home upright.
